A happy life is not achieved upon the goal of perfection, but harmony.

Harmony within work, fitness and play to achieve a Sway Life.

Hello there, virtual friends!

Pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee, let’s get to know each other. I’m Casey Barile and I created this website to be an online sanctuary for those of you that might be striving for a harmonious life like I am. So, a little about me…

I currently work as a regional marketing franchisee director with more than 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry. I have spent over 13 years working in national and local level marketing, brand management, social media, media buying and public relations.

I won the 2008 Employee of the Year award from a national level restaurant brand and 2018 Marketing Leader of the Year from an industry leading global brand.

That is ‘LinkedIn’ me. Professional me. And that was the only area of my life that was important in many conversations I had. That was until 2014 when my life was gloriously turned upside down and I became a Work-From-Home mom. At that moment, it has become my mission to figure out how to get the most out of my life in this new dynamic. For a long time, I was chasing balance. How to have it all. You can be the best professional, best mom and best wife all the time every day if you really achieve balance.

Turns out… that doesn’t exist.

Balance is hard.

If you are a Rockstar at work, you probably are missing a PTA meeting or two. And if you are killing it in the mom game and the kids are making it on time to every practice and getting homework done, you might be late or miss a deadline at work. As a result, I stopped beating myself up for living a life that wasn’t balanced. Instead, I shifted my focus to how to be ok with each area of my life intertwining with each other. That is how Sway Life was born. We don’t have a separate work life and home life, we just have one life. Each aspects of those life need to work together in harmony. You must find your own rhythm to be able to sway from one activity to the next. And most importantly, you must find a way to enjoy all the highs and lows, ebbs and flows, because that is what makes it all so beautiful.

Sway to the rhythm of life, and live in harmony with it..png
